Impulse Control Workshop at West 85th Street
Age Requirement: This class is designed for dogs at least 5-months-old.
Prerequisite: This class is open to all friendly, quiet dogs.
Location: AGDT 76 West 85th Street APT A.
Cost: $290 for the 3 week course.
Week One - Basic Impulse Control is an introduction to skills that help resolve jumping, hyperactivity, stealing objects or food, being easily distracted, and other frustrating behaviors.
Week Two - Intermediate Impulse Control upgrades the skills you learned previously, and adds distractions to teach you how to work through those challenges.
Week Three - Advanced Impulse Control takes it to the streets, where we work on all impulse control skills in the real world where you really need it! This is an OUTDOOR class. (we will not address leash pulling in depth in this class, for that subject take the Leash Intensive Workshop).
Cancellations made with less than one week’s notice will still be charged the full fee.
