Age Requirement: This class is designed for dogs 5 months and older.

Prerequisite: None.

Location: AGDT 76 West 85th Street APT A.

Cost: $330 for a 5 visit pass or $65 per ad hoc visit.

If your dog sometimes ignores you in the dog run, pulls on lead, greets TOO enthusiastically, or does not always understand the word SIT (or DOWN or STAY), then this is the class for you! Basic Manners is an introductory class that focuses on developing good manners and solving common behavior problems such as jumping up, pulling on leash, hyperactivity, ignoring cues (blow offs), and other troublesome behavior issues that have many owners pulling their hair out during adolescence and beyond!

You will learn essential training and the necessary tools for you to keep good behaviors consistent at home. You and your dog will learn and reinforce cues such as SIT, TOUCH, COME, STAY, SETTLE, DOWN, STAND, SPIN, and LEAVE IT.


Open enrollment classes offer a more flexible group class option during the summer months. Drop in and out as it fits with your schedule without committing to any attendance requirement's. Come to any 5 classes during the months of June, July or August with your dog.

All dogs must be 5 months or older. All dogs must be friendly and quiet.

*Curriculums for this class will be impromptu style based on the needs of the group in attendance.
